Bolt Thrower finally done

Today I have finished my Bolt thrower... finally. It was a hard piece of work.The crew members were  some time ago. Here is the result.

WIP Saphery Mage

My Saphery Mage is nearly complete, only the base has to be done.

I chose the GW model Alarielle the Everqueen as mage. In battle she will be guarded by 8 swordmasters of Hoeth.


Enough of words, here are the WIP pictures:

I tried to give her a look transparent cloth at the arms, breast and the upper legs and I am very pleased with the result. What do you think?

A sign of life...

Yesterday I found the time to complete some WIP High elf I begun painting some time ago.

A hero:

...Bolt Thower Crew

... my completed Battle Standard Bearer. The modellation of the model is often successive and the paintjob was not easy. But all in all I am pleased with the result.

All bases need flowers and some green which will be added when I find the time for.

I started painting my Battlestandartbearer for my 28mm High Elves army. Also the hero is nearly done just missing his shield arm.

Work in progress...

Real life takes my breath at the moment. Marriage, job and a pregnant woman need a lot of time to care for. I also had to abandon my painting room for the coming child so in the next three months there will be not so much updates here. But anyway I found the time, or took it :), and begun painting the champ of my White Lions. Here are the first WIPs, also a WIP Swordmaster is shown.

For the meanwhile ... 28mm DBA 1x3 Scutarii

Something for the meanwhile. Ancient Spanish Scutarii from Gripping Beast. Very bad sculpts and horror to paint. Especially the faces are very challenging. But... I did it :) Weapons will be added later!

Close up shields. All shields are handpainted! With the one left and the middle I am very pleased!
