Silverhelm reinforcement

I finished a second rider for my Silverhelm unit. The head is from the Lion chariot set.

I gave the brading another colour. What do you think? Which one fits better?

The base is still WIP!!! Stay tuned what it will look like :)

Comments, hints and critics are welcome too :)

New pics of the Silverhelm

I made some new pics including a horse. The fig is not glued because I will change the horse's barding colour. But I will use the chariot horses as mount because I like the very dynamic pose of those. Okay they are not heavy barded but it's enough barding for me to play them as barded.

28mm High Elves WIP Silverhelm rider painted...

This weekend I begun painting my first Siverhelm. Here' the result:

A lot of gold and armour. Very exhausting to paint but I am very pleased with the result.

I will use 6 Silverhelms inclunding musician in my 1250 points army

Comments, hints and critics are welcome too :)

Bolt Thrower finally done

Today I have finished my Bolt thrower... finally. It was a hard piece of work. The crew members were  some time ago. Here is the result.

And the crew in outdoor action...

I hope you like it. Comments, hints and critics are welcome too :)

WIP Saphery Mage

My Saphery Mage is nearly complete, only the base has to be done.

I chose the GW model Alarielle the Everqueen as mage. In battle she will be guarded by 8 swordmasters of Hoeth.

Enough of words, here are the WIP pictures:

I tried to give her a look transparent cloth at the arms, breast and the upper legs and I am very pleased with the result. What do you think?

I hope you like it. Comments, hints and critics are welcome too :)

A sign of life...

Yesterday I found the time to complete some WIP High elf I begun painting some time ago.

A hero:

...Bolt Thower Crew

... my completed Battle Standard Bearer. The modellation of the model is often successive and the paintjob was not easy. But all in all I am pleased with the result.

All bases need flowers and some green which will be added when I find the time for.

I hope you like it. Comments, hints and critics are welcome too :)

New Stuff..

I started painting my Battlestandartbearer for my 28mm High Elves army. Also the hero is nearly done just missing his shield arm.

The hero...

The BSB WIP

and the regiment so far. Second rank is not done yet...

I hope you like it. Comments, hints and critics are welcome too :)

Work in progress...

Real life takes my breath at the moment. Marriage, job and a pregnant woman need a lot of time to care for. I also had to abandon my painting room for the coming child so in the next three months there will be not so much updates here. But anyway I found the time, or took it :), and begun painting the champ of my White Lions. Here are the first WIPs, also a WIP Swordmaster is shown.

I hope you like it. Comments, hints and critics are welcome too :)

28mm High Elf Swordmasters of Hoeth progress

I have completed some more GW swordmasters. It will be a regiment of 15 so nearly half is done now.

Very good design those guys are a pleasure to paint. Not so much gems i need 3 hours to get one done.

I hope you like it. Comments, hints and critics are welcome too :)

What i did the whole january...

...is assembling and glueing a 1250 points WHFB High elf army. The army consist of the following stands: 1xHero 1xMage 10xArchers 20xSpearmen 15xWhite Lions 14xSwordmasters 1xTiranoc Chariot 1xEagle

My goal for this year is to paint that army. It will be a hard challenge. Already painted are 3 swordmaster, hero and an archer. I hope you like it. Comments, hints and critics are welcome too :)

The Master of the swords

A new GW model. The champion of my swordmaster unit.

The champ in different poses...

... a close up of his shield...

... and the champ with three fellows.

I hope you like it. Comments, hints and critics are welcome too :)
