Hey folks, had some time for rebasing old models to new systems. This time for Hordes of the things. I have a lot of old 2007 painted High elves which will serve in my Elvesarmy now. The army will consist of the following elements:
1x Magician
4x Spears
4x Shooters
1x Beast
1x Riders
I started the rebasing with 3 of 4 spears. At the moment the Elves fight withput shields. I have now idea how the shields should look like. Do you have an idea?
Instead of my normal basing i have added some green gems to the bases. Do you agree that they apply to the base or will blue gems be a better contrast to the "green" base and cloth of the elvish spearmen?
Next is my magician base, painted in 2004?. I have no idea were the wizard is from but his attitude looks pretty nice to me. Always with him, his little helper "booky" :) First WIP Pic, then the finished pic.
Next are two earth elements. A beast element, but just WIP. Models are from Ral partha. I tried first OSL= Object source lightening in order to demonstrate the magic enery of these but i am not pleased with the result. But watch yourself :)
When the base is finished i have done half of the army = 24AP. Damn - light velocity for me :D
I hope you like it. Comments, hints and critics are welcome too :)

Trees, trees and more trees again
In adddition to the pictures yesterday i made some of my trees too. All tree are made of real branches & wood. In my opinion the most realsitic way to create model trees. For foliage i used NOCH foliage dark & bright glueing them on brown coloured steel wool. For scale comparison on every picture is a 28mm Foundry miniature. I am very pleased with the result but take a look by yourself:
This one is made of a small dead bonsai tree. My favourite.
Every tree is based on a compact disk in order to be used as movable terrain like i did for my 15mm DBA armies. For example take a look on the wood on the right:
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask via comment.

Wheat fields and bushes
Not having much time at the moment i try to fill the gap with making pictures of stuff i did long time ago. Today: "Wheat fields and bushes". Both are made more than one year ago. For comparison there are some 28mm Miniatures from Crusader and Foundry.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask via comment.

Basic Impetus Fantastikus Update II
Yesterday i found the time to make some pictures of the current status of my Basic Impetus Fantastikus Bretonnian army. Done are a bowmen and light cavalry element i made two weeks ago. This increased the counter on four elements.
The army will consist of what i find in my glass cabinet. The ongoing status is:
2xCP Knights -> 1/2
3xCL Yeomen -> 2/3
2xFP Helbardiers -> 0/2
1xFP Knights on foot -> 0/1
2xT Longbowmen -> 1/2
1xS Robin Hoods gang -> 0/1
1xM Giant -> 0/1
3xHero Mounted and on foot -> 0/3
3xMagician & Witches -> 0/3
1xAerial Hero on Pegasus -> 0/1
Well a lot to do but my advantage is that i painted most of these miniatures more than 8 years ago. So i have to rebase them only. Here are the next two bases beginnig with the light cavalry:
The stone with the fleur-de-lýs symbol shall display a bretonnian shrine on a pilgrim rout. On the ground some pilgrims layed alms for safe journey. The right yeomen is watching to shrine and the alm in order to find something useful.
As you can see i have to add the ponytail. They broke some years ago.
The second element is bowmen unit. Led by a chap the unit is in combat firing a charge of arrows to the enemy. I need to add a banner to the champs right hand.
At least an overview:
Next will be a second element of bowmen and the first element of helbardiers. So stay tuned.
I hope you like it. Comments, hints and critics are welcome too :)

Surprise, surprise..
Surprise, surprise...Over the last days i found some time to paint surprisingly. I did not expect that time so i enjoyed painting some minitures. I was very productive for i painted the next element of my Impetus Fantasy Bretonnian army. Unfortunatly i had not my camera with me so i had to make pictures with my handy cam (sorry for quality)! Anyway i am very pleased with the result and looking forward very excitedly for the next elements.
Here are the pictures:
and one comparison picture with the first knight element:
At least i started to paint the next battlegroup for my 15mm FoG Alexandrian Macedonian Army: Cretan Archers. In addition to that i try to paint Agrianian Javelinmen parallel.
So, i hope you like them. Comments, hints and critics are welcome too :)
