DBA 15mm Pyrrhic II/27b

I did it finally! Today in the morning i made the last figure ready for battle and here are the pics:

The army consists of:

1x3 Knights (General)
2x2 Light horse (Panonian riders)
4x4 Pikemen
2x4 Spears (Italiot hoplits)
1x4 Auxilia (Samnite Warriors)
1x Elephant
1x2 Psiloi (Cretans)

The core of the army: Pyrrhus and his brave pikemen!

Next are the Panonian riders close to the mercenary Samnite warriors...

...The loyal Italiot hoplits and the Elephant...

... and at least the hole army in terrain including baggage stand:

15mm Italian allies complete

Today the Samnites and Italiots are completed!

On the left the Samnites with bigger shields and armed with pili. On the right the Italiot hoplits with round shields & spears.

Because there are no shield decals for the Samnites i had to become creative and painted those shield freehand. Only the second one on the left is a decal, a roman decals. But in my opinion it fits very good for Samnites. Do you agree?

DBA 15mm Pyrrhic - baggage element in progress

Hey folks,

some weeks of painting calmness are lying behind me. That gone now :)

I started painting the camp for my Pyrrhic force. The scene shows two sounding trumpets which attract all attation to themselves.
